In-person community training is a great option for businesses that want to help raise awareness of dementia. According to recent data, there are nearly 100,000 Minnesotans living with Alzheimer’s, the most common form of dementia. It is estimated that each person living with dementia has three non-paid caregivers. 300,000 Minnesotans affected by Alzheimer’s? Sounds like a lot, but now double them. This gives us more realistic numbers. This is because there are a number of different forms of dementia, besides Alzheimer’s, and many people live with undiagnosed dementia for years. That could mean 600,000 or more Minnesotans. Every time we educate on what dementia is, what we can do to prevent it, and how we can support those living with dementia, we are helping to reduce the stigmas that are associated with dementia. Our in-person Dementia Awareness Training is designed to raise public awareness of dementia. Call to Schedule today!
