In addition to sponsoring The Alzheimer’s Legacy Lab at the University of Minnesota, The Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation also offers a community outreach program that provide scientifically-backed Alzheimer’s prevention strategies compiled from current accredited research.
Our educational outreach series, called “KEEPING YOUR MIND – The Practical Guide to Preventing Alzheimer’s Disease” covers science-based lifestyle enhancements proven to protect against cognitive dysfunction and to support the brain’s ability to generate new neurons (neurogenesis) to replace those lost through aging and disease.
These prevention strategies continue to be published in blog form and can be easily accessed from our website: www.CuringAlzheimersDisease.com. Our website also provides up-to-date information on the Alzheimer’s Legacy Lab’s Progress; a Calendar of Events for our Educational Sessions & other Alzheimer’s Events; Resources for those caring for a person afflicted with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia (Caregiver Support); as well as “Simplified Science” on a vast array of topics related to Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Private Foundation is tax-exempt nonprofit public charity under 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Code of the United States that sponsors promising research related to the microbial (infectious) hypothesis of Alzheimer’s Disease.
