7 Seconds of Dementia Session

Join the 7 Seconds of Dementia session hosted by Moments Hospice and presented by Cristina Rodriguez from D-CAN. During the session, we will talk about the significance of initial impressions, explore the inner workings of communication in the brain and discuss the time required to process communication. Additionally, we will offer valuable insights on how to prepare for interactions with individuals living with dementia and provide practical communication tips.
Caregivers, community members, and health professionals are welcome to attend. No cost or registration is necessary. CEU’s available for social workers and nurses in the state of MN upon request.
